Rice pudding is one of the rare desserts that people who love milky desserts cannot say no to. The pleasure of dipping a spoon into the crispy crust of a slightly burnt baked rice pudding is completely different. Especially if it has lots of hazelnuts, don't let it spoil our joy. But eating it cold with a little cinnamon sprinkled on it is even better.

We have always known rice pudding in this form. But this classical attitude was combined with spices such as star anise and cloves, which were enchanting with their scent alone. It took it to another dimension. First, we boil the rice in light water and soften it. Then we combine the wonderful aroma of vanilla stick, the sweet smell of cloves and anise with milk and sugar. After thickening it with the side ingredients, we scrape the bottom of the pot and divide the rest into serving bowls.

Ingredients for Spicy Rice Pudding Recipe
  • 1 liter milk
  • 7 tablespoons of rice
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1.5 tablespoons of rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons of starch
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 stick of vanilla
  • 1 stick of cinnamon
  • 2-3 star anise
  • 3 cloves _

For the above:

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

How to Make Spicy Rice Pudding Recipe?

  • Wash and drain your rice. Then put it in a pot.
  • Add water and start boiling.
  • Cut the vanilla pod in half and remove the seeds with a knife.
  • Add all the spices, milk and sugar to the slightly softened rice. Mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, dilute the starch and rice flour with a little water. Add it to the rice pudding little by little and let it thicken.
  • When it is almost thick, remove the cloves, star anise and cinnamon sticks.
  • When it thickens, stir and cool at room temperature for a while and divide into serving containers. After it cools down, decorate it with cinnamon and enjoy.
