Avunya Ravioli Recipe Made from Pasta

We tried avunya manti, one of the local flavors of Balıkesir region, with pasta. It was both more practical and delicious.
We blended this wonderful mixture with pasta, using shredded chicken meat, boiled chickpeas, spices, chicken broth, and pasta water that improves its consistency. When garlic yoghurt is placed on top, your eyes and palate will be delighted with its appearance and taste.

For pasta:
- 1/2 package of spiral pasta
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion (chopped into small cubes)
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 boiled chicken breast ( shredded)
- 1 cup boiled chickpeas
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried mint
- 1/2 teaspoon chili pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 glass of chicken boiling water
- 1 glass of pasta boiling water
For the above:
- 8 tablespoons garlic yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons parsley (chopped)
How to Make Avunya Ravioli Recipe Made from Pasta?
- Boil the pasta in salted, boiling water for 7 minutes and drain. While straining, reserve a glass of water.
- Heat a deep and wide pan over medium heat. Add olive oil and onions and fry for two minutes.
- Add the tomato paste and continue roasting until its smell disappears.
- Add the shredded breast meat, chickpeas, spices, chicken broth and pasta water to the pan and boil for a while.
- Add the boiled pasta to the pan, mix it with the sauce, and remove it from the stove when the sauce is almost absorbed.
- Place the food on serving plates while it is hot, and pour plenty of garlic yoghurt on top.
- Serve by sprinkling a small amount of chopped parsley. Enjoy your meal.
