Ingredients for Baked Chicken Skewers Recipe
  • 500 grams boneless cubed chicken breast
  • Juice of 1 large onion
  • 2 tablespoons of yoghurt
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1.5 coffee cups of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 sprig of rosemary (optional)

For tweens:

  • 1 capia pepper
  • 1 zucchini _
  • 100 grams of mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

How to Make Baked Chicken Shish Recipe?

  • To marinate the chicken skewers, add olive oil, yoghurt, onion juice, grated garlic, salt and spices to a deep mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients well to obtain a homogeneous sauce.
  • Transfer the chicken breasts cut into cubes into the marinating sauce you prepared. Mix the chicken thoroughly with this sauce. For the marination to take effect, cover the chickens with stretch film and let them rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight if you have time.
  • Chop all vegetables except mushrooms into medium thickness and similar sizes. Flavor the chopped vegetables by blending them with salt, black pepper and olive oil.
  • Thread the vegetables and marinated chicken onto skewers, respectively. Continue the process until all ingredients are used.
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 5 minutes. Place the heated oven rack on the tray.
  • Place the skewers on the wire and leave them to cook in the oven. Change the directions of the skewers at regular intervals to ensure they cook evenly.
