This soup, which contains chicken meat, dried okra and various vegetables, cooks slowly and becomes a source of healing with the combination of all the vegetables and chicken broth. In other words, it is a soup that can be easily consumed when suffering from cold complaints.

The healing soup of Turkish cuisine is a recipe similar to chicken broth soup. Even their manners are almost similar. But what distinguishes it from chicken broth soup is that it is cooked with dried okra and many vegetables. Bon appetit in advance

 
Ingredients for Begova Soup Recipe
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 carrot (diced )
  • 2 potatoes (medium size , diced)
  • 1 cup okra (dried)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley (chopped)

For finishing:

  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 50 ml. cream
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 eggs _
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

How to Make Begova Soup Recipe?

  • Boil the chicken breasts with bay leaves. After boiling, drain and save the water for soup.
  • In another pot, boil dried okra with lemon water.
  • Shred the boiled chickens.
  • Roast the margarine and flour in the pot in which you will make the soup.
  • After adding chicken broth, mix well and let it boil.
  • Add the shredded chicken, carrots, potatoes and boiled and drained okra to the boiling chicken broth.
  • Cook over medium heat until the vegetables become soft.
  • For the dressing, whisk the cream, egg, flour, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  • Take 1 ladle of the soup and add it little by little to the bowl containing the seasoning and mix.
  • Slowly add the seasoning, whose temperature is equal to the soup, to the soup while stirring.
  • Cook the soup on low heat for another 5 minutes, remove it from the stove and serve hot.
