Ingredients for Sauteed Chicken with Cheddar in a Casserole Recipe
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 chicken breasts ( 500 g)
  • 1 onion (medium size )
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 capia pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 tomato 
  • 200 grams of mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon (wiping) thyme
  • 1.5 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/6 slice of lemon
  • 200 grams grated cheddar cheese

How to Make Casserole Chicken Sauteed with Cheddar Recipe?

  • Chop the onion, capia and green pepper into thin long julienne. Peel the tomatoes, remove the seeds and chop them into cubes. Slice the garlic too.
  • Clean the mushroom with a napkin or kitchen cloth. Slice thinly with the stem parts.
  • Heat the olive oil in the pan, first add the chicken you cut into cubes and saute over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes. Then add onion and garlic and continue sautéing.
  • Add capia and green peppers.
  • Add mushrooms and tomatoes one by one and continue sautéing. Lastly, add all the spices and salt, mix and let it cook over high heat until it absorbs some of the water.
  • After sautéing for 3-4 minutes over high heat, distribute it evenly into the casserole dishes. Place the casserole dishes on the baking tray.
  • Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over them to cover them. First bake in a preheated 180 degree fan oven for 10 minutes.
  • Then, using only the grill (top setting), continue cooking in a controlled manner for 5-8 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy your meal!
