This dish is the best version of chicken! Finely chopped chicken, peppers and onions are combined in a pan; It is placed in thin dough and wrapped. Pour the tomato paste sauce on top and the dish is ready!

You won't be able to get enough of it with garlic yoghurt. Bon appetit in advance!

 
Ingredients for Chicken Beyti Recipe
  • 500 grams boneless chicken thigh (diced)
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 medium sized onion ( chopped)
  • 3 green peppers ( chopped)
  • 3 pieces of dough
  • 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

For the Tomato Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 tea glass of warm water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the above:

  • 1 bowl of garlic yoghurt

How to Make Chicken Beyti Recipe?

  • Add the oil to the pan first, then the onions. Start roasting.
  • Add the peppers and continue roasting.
  • Add the chicken and continue roasting.
  • Add chili pepper, salt and pepper. Continue roasting. When it is cooked, remove it from the stove and let it cool.
  • Roll out 1 sheet of dough and divide it in half.
  • Spread the chicken mixture on the short side.
  • Roll it tightly by holding both ends.
  • Cut the roll into equal lengths with the help of a knife. Repeat the same process for all phyllo dough.
  • Arrange the rolls adjacent to each other on a greased springform cake mold or tray. Bake the dough on the middle shelf of the oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes until the dough is golden brown.
  • Put the oil into the sauce pot first, then the tomato paste. When the smell of the tomato paste disappears, add water and salt and boil. Pour this sauce over the baked beyti for 20 minutes and bake again.
  • Serve with garlic yoghurt. You can drizzle the tomato paste sauce you prepared on top. Enjoy your meal!
