Fajita, which means "the best part of the meat" in Spanish, is a dish served with tortilla breads made from wheat or corn flour. Fajita recipes, which originally used tenderloin cut in julienne, can now be prepared with chicken, seafood or mixed.

What is important for them to be compatible with each other and to cook in equal amounts of time is to cut the vegetables and the meat to be used in julienne shapes and sauté them quickly over high heat. Ingredients for Chicken Fajita Recipe
  • 2 fillets of chicken breast (200 grams each)
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 2 medium sized capsicum peppers
  • 2 medium sized green bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 tortilla breads

For marinade:

  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar

How to Make Chicken Fajita Recipe?

  • Chickens 3-4 cm. Cut it in julienne length. Mix in a bowl with lemon juice, soy sauce, powdered sugar, black pepper, salt and chopped garlic. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  • Chop the onion into white pieces. Cut the red and green peppers in half and remove their seeds and chop them into julienne shapes.
  • Add the onions to the pan heated over medium heat and sauté until they turn pink.
  • Add the peppers. Continue sautéing for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the chicken and continue cooking for 4-5 minutes.
  • After dividing the chicken mixture you have prepared between tortillas, you can wrap it in the form of a roll and serve. Enjoy your meal!
