Ingredients for Chicken Fette Recipe

For Base:

  • 1 ramadan pita
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

For Yogurt Sauce:

  • 1.5 cups of yoghurt
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Other Ingredients:

  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas
  • 200 grams boiled chicken legs (shredded)
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper

How to Make Chicken Fette Recipe?

  • Soak the chickpeas overnight and boil them the next day.
  • Boil the chicken in plenty of water with 1 teaspoon of salt.
  • Shred the boiled chickens.
  • Chop the Ramadan pita into cubes.
  • Roast the chopped pitas with 3 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, black pepper and garlic powder.
  • Beat the strained yoghurt, tahini and cumin with a whisk until it reaches a smooth consistency.
  • Place the seasoned pita, boiled chickpeas and shredded chicken on the pitas in the serving bowl.
  • Finally, pour the yoghurt-tahini sauce and drizzle over the melted butter spiced with red pepper powder. That's it, bon appetit!
