Chicken Kievski, as its name suggests, is actually a dish of Ukrainian origin. It has become an indispensable part of Russian cuisine due to its history intertwined with Russia in that region. Kievski is a flavor that resembles schnitzel but contains butter blended with fresh herbs and garlic.

For Chicken:
- 2 chicken breasts ( 2 whole, i.e. 4 pieces)
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 bunch of parsley (finely chopped)
- 2 sprigs of fresh tarragon (finely chopped)
- 2 large cloves of garlic
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 egg _
- 3 tablespoons of flour
- 1/2 cup panko
- 1/2 cup frying oil
How to Make Chicken Kievski Recipe?
- Bring the butter to room temperature.
- Finely chop the parsley and tarragon. Crush the garlic.
- Mix well the butter, herbs, garlic, black pepper and half the salt.
- Make pockets in the chicken breasts using a sharp knife.
- Put a generous amount of the butter mixture into the pockets you opened and reattach the chicken breasts with the help of toothpicks.
- Start heating the frying oil.
- Spread the flour on a plate and mix it with the rest of the salt. Beat the egg in a deep plate and spread the bread crumbs in another plate.
- Coat the chicken first in flour, then in egg, and finally in plenty of bread crumbs.
- Throw the chicken into the hot oil. Fry on both sides until dark golden brown.
