Klukuşa is a high-carb recipe made with potatoes, cake-like, and baked in the oven. Generally, after baking in the oven, it is cut into small pieces and consumed like manti, served with yoghurt. We cooked it with chicken and served it by slicing it. Chicken and klukusha go so well together!

Ingredients for Chicken Klukusha Recipe

For Chicken Marination:

  • 400 grams of chicken wings
  • 3 tablespoons of yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme

For Klukusha:

  • 4 potatoes (chopped into small cubes )
  • 2 onions _
  • 1 glass of water
  • 1/2 tea glass of oil
  • 3 tablespoons of yoghurt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2.5 cups of flour

How to Make Chicken Klukusha Recipe?

  • Set the oven to 185 degrees.
  • Place the chicken in a deep bowl. Add yoghurt, salt, black pepper, red pepper powder and thyme and mix.
  • Leave the chicken combined with the marinade in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  • In a separate deep bowl, add potatoes, onion, water, oil, yoghurt, baking powder, salt and pepper and mix.
  • Finally, add the flour and obtain a mixture with the consistency of cake mixture.
  • Pour the potato mixture into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Arrange the marinated chickens in the oven tray at intervals and bake them in the oven preheated to 185 degrees for approximately 40-45 minutes. After making sure the chicken is cooked thoroughly, remove it from the oven.
  • Leave it at room temperature to pass the initial temperature.
  • Serve by slicing.
