Ingredients for Glass Bottled Chicken Recipe

For chicken:

  • 1 medium size whole chicken
  • 1 1 liter glass bottle
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 lemon _
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar

For potatoes:

  • 5-6 potatoes _
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons of ground red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of thyme
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil

How to Make Chicken Recipe in a Glass Bottle?

  • Optionally, wash the chicken well.
  • Peel the garlic cloves and make indentations with a knife in several different parts of the chicken. Insert the garlic into these notches.
  • Squeeze the juice from the lemon and rub the chicken well with this water. Make sure lemon juice gets all over the chicken. Rub the chicken with the inside of the lemon peel you squeezed.
  • Then, crush 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar in your palm and spread it all over the chicken that you have rubbed with lemon.
  • Fill 2/3 of the glass bottle with water and place the chicken in the bottle. Be very careful to keep the mouth of the bottle open.
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the skewer on which you put the chicken in the middle of the tray.
  • Wash the potatoes well and chop them roughly without peeling them.
  • Pour all the spices and olive oil required for the potatoes and mix them well.
  • Place the seasoned potatoes in the bottle and spread them well around the chicken on the tray.
  • Place the tray in a preheated oven at 200 degrees and leave it to bake for 1 hour. The potatoes will be cooked with the juices from the chicken.
  • At the end of the cooking time, remove the tray from the oven. Carefully remove the chicken from the bottle and place it on a serving plate. Place potatoes around it and serve hot.
