  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 2.5 cups of cold milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
