I love creamy dishes, but I haven't bought cream for a long time because they are high in calories. Instead, I created my own creamy but creamy sauce, and I use this sauce recipe to create all kinds of sauces. Let's start with the curry sauce first, we will use this sauce in different recipes.
- 500 gr. chicken
- 1 onion _
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 green pepper
- 5 mushrooms _
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
For sauce:
- 1 tablespoon whole wheat flour (or gluten-free oat flour)
- 1.5 cups of milk
- 2 teaspoons curry
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
How to Make Chicken Recipe with Curry Sauce Without Cream?
- Fry the onion with oil.
- Add garlic and continue cooking.
- Add diced chicken and cook.
- Finally, chop the mushrooms and peppers into small pieces and add them.
- Add salt, black pepper, basil and thyme and after it is cooked thoroughly, prepare the sauce while keeping the chicken aside for a while.
- Roast the oat flour well in a pan to release its scent. Wait for the flour to cool.
- Add milk, curry, salt and pepper to the cooled flour.
- Mix with a whisk and turn on the stove and cook over low heat until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked sauce to the chicken and serve hot after cooking a little more. Bon appetit!
