Ingredients for Chicken Tantuni Recipe

To put between bread:

  • 1 onion _
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley
  • 1 tomato _

For Tantuni bread:

  • 2 cups of warm water
  • 1 pack of dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon of yoghurt
  • 4.5 - 5 cups of flour

For chicken tantuni:

  • 500 grams of chicken breast (about 4 pieces)
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper

How to Make Chicken Tantuni Recipe?

  • For the chicken tantuni bread; Combine all ingredients except flour and knead well.
  • Slowly add the flour and obtain a dough that has a soft texture and will not stick to the hand. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes to ferment.
  • Take tangerine-sized pieces from the fermented dough, roll them and roll them into bread form with your hands. Apply water on them with a brush. Make deep scratches along the length with a sharp knife. Be sure to put water in a fireproof bowl inside the oven, this way you will get breads that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • For the chicken tantuni; Chop the chicken breast into very small cubes and cook in an oil-free pan until the chicken releases its juices.
  • Add oil and spices and fry the chicken well.
