Ingredients for Groom's Trouser Recipe

For chicken broth:

  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 liters of water
  • 1 onion _
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

For leg:

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons of strained yoghurt
  • 2 spoonful butter
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

For the bottom of the groom's trouser leg:

  • 6 rose petals
  • 5 cups chicken broth

For the above:

  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper

How to Make Groom's Trousers Recipe?

  • For the groom's trotter, first cook the chicken drumsticks with water and other ingredients over medium heat until they separate from the bones. At this stage, remove the foam from the cooked chicken to reveal the flavor.
  • Soak the gullacs with chicken broth and place them on a baking tray in layers. This will ensure that the gullaçs are soft and delicious.
  • Separate the chicken from its skin and bones. Then, place the chicken meat regularly on the gullaç you prepared.
  • For the leg, roast the flour and butter in a deep pan. Add garlic and salt and continue roasting until the smell disappears. Add the chicken broth little by little and cook until it reaches a thick, fluid consistency.
  • Beat the egg yolks and yoghurt in a deep bowl. Then, add the hot sauce into the mixture little by little and mix until it reaches a creamy texture.
  • Cover the chicken pieces with the sauce you prepared. Then, bake at 190 degrees for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • After the groom's trotter is cooked, you can serve it by sprinkling red pepper powder on it. Enjoy your meal.
