Who doesn't love sauce chicken recipes? We mixed the fillet chicken breasts, which we fried upside down in a pan with grill marks, over high heat, with a light soy sauce and honey sauce that maintained the taste/salt balance. We called the resulting work honey chicken.

Ingredients for Honey Chicken Recipe
  • 4 fillets of chicken breast (200 grams each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

For the honey sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 grated lemon peel
  • 1 teaspoon of mountain thyme

How to Make Honey Chicken Recipe?

  • Place the fillet chicken breasts, the skin and bones of which have been removed, into a deep mixing bowl.
  • Marinate with olive oil, rosemary, garlic and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Marinated chicken breasts; Fry upside down in a hot pan with grill marks, over high heat.
  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the flour and fry over low heat until it acquires a light colour.
  • Add honey, freshly squeezed lemon juice and soy sauce. Stir quickly to prevent the flour from forming lumps and let it boil over low heat. Season the sauce, which has started to thicken, with grated lemon peel and thyme.
  • Pour the sauce you prepared over the fried chicken breasts, turn them upside down and place them on serving plates. Serve immediately with the garnishes you desire.
