- 500 grams of chicken thigh (3 drumstick parts removed)
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 lemon
- 200 milliliters chicken broth (or vegetable broth, broth)
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon (wiping) red pepper powder
How to Make Lemon Garlic Chicken Kebab Recipe?
- Heat a steel or cast iron pan that can fit completely into the oven over high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add olive oil to the pan, wait for it to smoke a little.
- Place the chicken in the pan with the skin side down on the bottom of the pan and let it sit for about 3 minutes. While the chicken is in the pan, finely chop the garlic. Cut the lemon into 4 lengthwise.
- Before turning the chicken in the pan, make sure that the skin is lightly browned. If it is browned and has a nice color, turn it to the other side.
- After turning the chicken, add the garlic. Squeeze 2 slices of lemon and add them to the pan, add the remaining 2 slices directly without squeezing.
- Then, sprinkle half a tablespoon of cumin and a teaspoon of ground pepper over all the ingredients. Add chicken broth and cook over high heat for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, reduce the chicken broth by half.
- Turn off the stove and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven in upside down mode for 18 minutes. After taking it out of the oven, let it rest at room temperature for 5 minutes.
- Either plate to serve. If you wish, serve it with a pan in the middle of the table.
