How to Make New Year's Turkey Recipe?
- Add the butter to a small bowl.
- Add honey on it.
- Add fresh thyme leaves, salt, black pepper and crushed garlic.
- Mix well. Set aside a teaspoon of it.
- Rub the inside and outside of the turkey well with this oil and ensure that it penetrates inside. Tie the leg parts nicely with rope or the wrap you cut.
- Place it in a large baking bag if you have one, otherwise, cover the tray you are using with wrap-bake film to prevent air tightness and bake it in the oven at 190 degrees, on the shelf below the middle, for about 3 hours. If you are not going to use an oven bag, remove the simmer for the last 30 minutes and allow the turkey to brown well. This time may vary depending on the size of your turkey and your oven, it is useful to be controlled.
- Add soy sauce to the 1 teaspoon of butter you reserved.
- Place the vegetables on a tray and mix them with this mixture.
- Place them in the oven where you placed the turkey, under the turkey. They will be ready in 1 hour. If you turn on the grill part of your oven for the last 15 minutes and place them on the top shelf, they will caramelize beautifully.
- Add your vegetables around the turkey on the tray. Garnish with citrus fruits and currants. Enjoy your meal!
