- 8 pieces boneless chicken thighs (skin removed)
- 6 tablespoons apricot marmalade
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
For service:
- 4-5 leaves of basil
- 2 tablespoons of yoghurt
- 5-6 pieces of grilled carrots
How to Make Oven Chicken Recipe with Apricot Sauce?
- Place the chickens in a baking dish, season them with salt and pepper and set aside.
- To prepare the sauce; Put the apricot marmalade, soy sauce and mustard in a saucepan. Grate the garlic on top and mix it well, then turn on the stove. Boil for 6-7 minutes, stirring constantly, and then turn off the heat.
- Pour the sauce you prepared on the chickens in the baking dish so that it covers them well, then put them in a preheated oven at 220 degrees and let them bake for about 40 minutes.
- Open the oven door at ten-minute intervals and, using a spoon, pour the sauce in the oven tray over the chicken and close the oven door again.
- At the end of the cooking time, remove the chicken from the oven and place it on a serving plate. Decorate the tops with chopped basil leaves and serve with strained yoghurt and grilled carrots.
