Moreover, it will be much more practical and economical than preparing a whole turkey. We wrap the turkey fillets with the stuffing rice we prepared and leave it to cook in the oven. After slicing the delicious turkey wrap coming out of the oven, we serve it by garnishing it with Sütaş Strained Yoghurt, pomegranate seeds and fresh mint leaves.

Ingredients for Stuffed Turkey Stuffed Rice Recipe

For the Turkey Wrap:

  • 2 tablespoons Sütaş Strained Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Sütaş Butter
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon (wiping) red pepper powder
  • 6 pieces turkey fillet (boneless, skinless and thinned)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

For Stuffed Rice:

  • 1 tablespoon Sütaş Butter
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 1 onion _
  • 1.5 cups hot water
  • 1 tablespoon (wiping) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon of mint
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of currants
  • 1 tablespoon of pine nuts

For service:

  • 300 grams Sütaş Strained Yogurt
  • 1 cup peeled pomegranate
  • 2-3 sprigs of fresh mint

How to Make Stuffed Turkey with Stuffed Rice Recipe?

  • Prepare all your ingredients.
  • Start frying the washed rice in a pot with 1 tablespoon of Sütaş Butter. After 2-3 minutes, add the onion chopped into small cubes and continue frying.
  • After the onion softens, add hot water, all the spices, sugar, currants and pine nuts, close the lid and let it cook over low heat until it absorbs its water. When the water is completely absorbed, remove it from the stove and let it rest.
  • Open your turkey fillets well and season both sides with salt and pepper. Put at least 1-1.5 tablespoons of the rested rice on the part closest to you.
  • Wrap the turkey by gently folding the edges inwards.
  • After wrapping it completely, secure it with toothpicks from the left and right sides. This way, there will be no disintegration while cooking and it will be easily sliced afterwards.
  • Mix 2 tablespoons of Sütaş Strained Yoghurt, grated garlic and ground pepper to spread on the turkey wrap before putting it in the oven.
  • Place the turkey wraps in your baking mold and apply the sauce you prepared with Sütaş Strained Yoghurt all over with a brush.
  • Cut Sütaş Butter into small pieces and distribute them randomly into the baking mold. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes on a fan setting and 5 minutes on a grill setting only.
  • After taking it out of the oven, brush the juice accumulated in the baking mold onto the turkey wrap.
  • Distribute Sütaş Strained Yoghurt evenly on your serving plates and spread it lightly with a spoon. Slice the turkey wrap and add it on top, garnish with pomegranate seeds and fresh mint and serve. Enjoy your meal!
