Ingredients for Chicken and Shrimp Thai Curry Recipe
  • 300 grams of shrimp
  • 1 carrot
  • 300 grams of broccoli
  • 1 onion
  • 3 heads of garlic
  • 1 red pepper
  • 3 chili peppers
  • 2 green green peppers
  • 1 tablespoon curry
  • 1 piece of turmeric
  • 1/4 piece of ginger
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup unsalted peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (sunflower oil as desired)
  • 1 pinch of fresh coriander
  • Juice of 1 lime (lemon juice as desired)
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 400 grams of chicken legs

How to Make Thai Curry Recipe with Chicken and Shrimp?

  • First, seal the diced chicken meat in a pan with a little olive oil and set it aside. Add the onion you chopped into the pan and sauté it lightly.
  • Add grated garlic, finely julienned peppers and carrots, spices (kaffirlime and curry leaves, if any), freshly grated ginger and freshly grated turmeric and sauté by stirring over high heat for 4-5 minutes.
  • After deglazing the pan by adding soy sauce and fish sauce, add chicken meat, shrimp, ground peanuts and coconut milk and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  • Cut the broccoli into small pieces and steam them.
  • Taste the food and adjust the seasoning. Grate the zest of the lime, add the broccoli grains that you steamed and cut into small pieces, and fresh coriander. Turn off the heat of the curry and serve it while it is hot, accompanied by 1/4 lime.
