Ingredients for Turkey Leg Tandoori and Stuffed Pilaf Recipe

For the stuffed rice:

  • 4 cups baldo rice
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 onions (diced )
  • 1 tablespoon dried mint
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons of black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons currants (soaked in water)
  • 3 tablespoons of pine nuts
  • 5 glasses of hot water

For the turkey leg tandoori:

  • 1 turkey leg
  • 2 onions _
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 orange _
  • 1 lemon _
  • 1/2 tea glass of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper

How to Make Turkey Leg Tandoori and Stuffed Pilaf Recipe?

  • For the stuffed rice, melt the butter in the pot. Add oil, add washed and drained rice and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  • After roasting, add all the remaining ingredients except water and fry for another 2 minutes, then add hot water and cook on high heat for 3-4 minutes and on low heat for 15-20 minutes with the lid closed. After removing it from the stove, let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  • Roast coarsely chopped onion, garlic and turkey in a pressure cooker over high heat with olive oil. Add orange juice, lemon juice and spices, pour enough hot water to cover the turkey and cook for 40-45 minutes.
