How to Make Turkey Recipe with Chestnuts?

  • After placing the turkey breast, which you purchased as a whole, boneless fillet, on stretch film, thin it out with the help of a meat pounder.
  • For turkey rolls to be portioned; Divide the thinned turkey breast into four equal pieces of a certain width.
  • Season the fillet pieces with olive oil and salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • To prepare the stuffing, remove the shells of the chestnuts you cooked in the oven or in a roasting pan. After carefully cleaning the hairy parts, cut it into large pieces.
  • Crumble the stale bread. Finely chop the fresh rosemary pieces that you have extracted one by one. Crush the garlic in a mortar with the addition of salt. Grate the cheddar cheese with the thick side of the grater.
  • Mix all the ingredients you have prepared with chestnut pieces, powdered parmesan cheese, dried vegetable seasoning and freshly ground black pepper in the same bowl.
  • After sharing the stuffing you prepared between the fillet chicken breast pieces, carefully wrap them in the form of a roll.
  • Wrap the turkey rolls with a clean and heat-resistant kitchen twine to prevent the stuffing from spilling out and to cook easily. Secure the edges with toothpicks to seal and remove during service.
  • After applying olive oil on the turkey rolls with chestnuts, which you placed on a baking tray covered with baking paper, bake them in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for about 40 minutes to prevent them from browning suddenly.
  • Serve the turkey with chestnuts hot, which you continue to cook at 200 degrees for the last 10 minutes so that the cheese in the filling melts more easily. Slice it as desired and share it with your loved ones.
