Ingredients for Anchovy Rice Recipe
  • 800 grams of anchovies (bones removed)
  • 2 onions _
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of peanuts
  • 2 cups baldo rice
  • 2.5 cups hot water
  • 1 tablespoon currants (soaked in water)
  • 1/2 bunch of dill
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried mint

To cook:

  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour

How to Make Anchovy Rice Recipe?

  • For rice with anchovies, fry the onions with oil and olive oil.
  • Add peanuts, salt, black pepper, dried mint, rice and raisins and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add boiling water and boil over high heat for 5 minutes, then turn the heat down and let it brew.
  • Coat the greased casseroles with corn flour and place the cleaned anchovies in the casserole, leaving their skins outside.
  • Lastly, add the chopped dill to the brewed rice, mix and divide into casserole dishes.
  • Cover them again with anchovy and corn flour and bake them in the oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
  • Turn the cooked anchovy rice upside down onto a plate and serve, enjoy!
