Who doesn't love bonito, one of the most beautiful gifts of our seas? We make many varieties of it at home, from fried to steamed. This time, let's evaluate this beautiful fish in a different form without losing its taste.

This recipe, which everyone will love but children will also love, is accompanied by one of our classic sauces, tarator. If it were me, I wouldn't miss this recipe. We have left our video recipe below for you. Thank you in advance.

How to Make Bonito Croquette Recipe?

  • Separate the bones and skin of the fish fillet and chop it into small cubes. Fry the onion, garlic and fish in a pan until they are completely soft.
  • Add the juice of half a lemon and spices. Let the mixture you take from the stove rest.
  • Mash the boiled potatoes in a deep bowl, add the fish mixture, finely chopped dill and spring onion and mix well. Take walnut-sized pieces from the mixture and shape them into cylindrical prisms.
  • Dip the croquettes first in flour, then in egg, and finally in bread crumbs, and fry in oil until golden brown.
  • For the tarator sauce, blend all the ingredients except water and adjust the consistency by adding water. You can add arugula, red onion and lemon to the sauce and croquettes during presentation. Enjoy your meal.
