  • 8 Cretan squash
  • 1 onion _
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 100 grams grated cheddar cheese
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of chili pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

How to Make Cretan Stuffed Zucchini with Shrimp Recipe?

  • Cut off the top part of the Cretan zucchini and set aside. Hollow out the insides and steam them for 5-10 minutes.
  • Cut the onion into thin cubes. Add olive oil to the pan and fry the onions lightly.
  • Grate the garlic. Add garlic, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes and shrimps and sauté over medium heat.
  • Grate the insides of the zucchini, chop the parsley finely and add it to this mixture.
  • Cook all the ingredients together for 2-3 minutes.
  • Fill the zucchinis with this mixture and add grated cheddar cheese on top. Arrange the tops of the zucchinis next to the stuffed vegetables.
