This magical journey, which started with the Japanese wrapping salted fish fillets in rice to preserve them for a longer period of time, appeals to both the eye and the stomach with its different varieties and presentations.

Ingredients for Dragon Sushi Recipe
  • 1 sheet of nori (edible seaweed)
  • 60 grams of boiled sushi rice
  • 1 ripe avocado ( about 200 grams)
  • 100 grams of tempura shrimp (deep-fried with coating mixture, quickly)
  • 5 ml. teriyaki sauce
  • 3 grams chili mayo sauce
  • 30 grams of cucumber (the middle part is not used)
  • 5 grams unagi (charcoal-cooked eel fillet)

For service:

  • 10 grams of wasabi
  • 2.5 grams of pickled ginger
  • 30 ml. soy sauce

How to Make Dragon Sushi Recipe?

  • Cut a ripe, softened avocado in half. Remove the large core in the middle. After peeling them thinly, slice them into long thin pieces.
  • Cut the small cucumber, which you washed in plenty of water, into long thin strips without peeling it. Do not use by removing the middle, seeded parts.
  • Unroll the bamboo mat you will use to roll the sushi on the kitchen counter. Cover it with stretch film. Then place a sheet of nori in the middle.
  • Called Tezu sauce; Take the boiled sushi rice that you have mixed with boiled rice vinegar, granulated sugar and salt.
  • Spread the nori leaves in the middle, leaving a margin at the edges. Arrange chili mayo sauce, tempura shrimp pieces, cucumber slices and half of the avocado slices lengthwise.
  • Shape the sushi by wrapping it tightly with a bamboo mat, without taking out all the ingredients.
  • After adding the remaining avocado slices and the charcoal-cooked eel fillet onto the rolled sushi, roll it a second time with a stretch-covered bamboo mat.
  • Make sure these ingredients are also fixed on the sushi roll. Cut the sushi, portion it out and place it on a serving plate.
  • Pour Teriyaki sauce over the slices. Serve immediately with wasabi, pickled ginger and soy sauce. Share with your loved ones.
