It's time to meet fish wrap, the innovative version of the fish smells rising from Eminönü! We prepare this delicious street delicacy with seasonal mackerel in our kitchen in its most economical form. Even those who don't like fish will love the fish wrap.

A new wrap recipe is added with its special sauce, caramelized onions and salad. Bon appetit in advance!

 
Ingredients for Fish Wrap Recipe
  • 2 mackerel (fillets )
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of oil

For the Caramelized Onion with Sauce:

  • 2 onions _
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch of red pepper powder
  • 1 pinch of chili pepper
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon pomegranate syrup
  • 1 pinch chopped parsley

For the Salad:

  • 1 carrot (grated )
  • 1/4 red cabbage
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 1/2 bunch of arugula

For Fish Wrap:

  • 2 lavash _
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch sumac
  • 1 teaspoon of pomegranate syrup
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to Make Fish Wrap Recipe?

  • Add oil to the heated pan and cook the fish both sides.
  • For the caramelized onions with sauce, add the chopped onions to a pot and fry in oil until soft.
  • Then add granulated sugar and continue roasting. At the last stage, add the spices and remove from the stove.
  • Add pomegranate syrup and chopped parsley to the caramelized onions in a bowl.
  • For the salad, place grated carrots and red cabbage in a bowl. Add coarsely chopped arugula and lettuce on top.
  • Heat the lavash in a pan and spread the caramelized onion on it.
  • Place the fish on it.
  • Sprinkle the salad.
  • Mix olive oil, pomegranate syrup, sumac and salt in a bowl and pour over it.
  • Wrap it in a wrap shape.
  • Spread the remaining pomegranate sauce on top.
  • Return it to the pan and fry it lightly.
  • Serve fish wrap with remaining salad. Enjoy your meal!
