While the fish shows itself on the counters in its freshest form, we chose whiting, which we love in every form, for today.
We love whiting very much... Why? Its white, Turkish delight-like meat... What beautiful reasons to love it, with its bones that can be easily removed. When we talk about the pan, the coating, the croquettes... We wanted to not forget the most basic and simplest form.
It's up to you to make it in a cast iron pan or on a wire rack in the oven. The important thing is to eat whiting like this. Well, after all, isn't it necessary to eat fish twice a week for our health? Let this be for the first evening. You can enjoy choosing the second delicious fish recipe of the week from our fish recipes category.
Bon appetit!
- 4 slices haddock fillet
- 1 teaspoon butter (melted)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon coarsely ground sea salt
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- 2 sprigs of fresh thyme
How to Make Grilled Whiting Recipe?
- Wash and dry the cleaned, sorted filleted fish thoroughly.
- After draining thoroughly, place the fish in a large bowl and mix with salt, black pepper and olive oil. Add fresh thyme leaves.
- Leave it in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to flavor it.
- After the pan is thoroughly heated, place the fish neatly into the pan (At this stage, you can use a cast iron pan or cook it on the grill wire of the oven).
- Arrange cherry tomatoes around the edges of the fish.
- After one side is cooked, turn the other side and share 1 teaspoon of it among all the fillets and wait 4-5 minutes for the butter to slowly melt and the other side to cook. If you wish, you can turn the fish once to distribute the flavor of the butter. That's it, bon appetit!
