Kimbap, in its most basic form, is a food made by rolling up plenty of cooked rice and accompanying tuna, avocado, salmon, smoked meat and vegetables. Neuron is used in its outer layer. Ingredients for Kimbap Recipe
  • 12 sheets of nori (edible seaweed)
  • 2 cups of pilaf rice
  • 6 glasses of water
  • 5 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons of granulated sugar
  • 3 teaspoons of salt (according to your taste)
  • 1 avocado (ripe, thinly sliced )
  • 1 carrot (thinly julienned )
  • 1 cucumber (outer parts cut into thin julienne )
  • 160 grams of tuna (one can)

For Service:

  • 1 bowl of soy sauce

How to Make Kimbap Recipe?

  • Without washing the rice, add it to the pot with water. Cook until the rice becomes mushy.
  • Add the mushy rice to a bowl and while it is hot, add the rice vinegar, salt and sugar and stir. Cool until warm. The consistency should be such that it sticks to the spoon as in the photo.
  • Lay out your mat and add a moss leaf on it. Spread the rice on top with your hands. It will stick immediately. If you wish, you can do this by wetting your hands with some water each time.
  • Add some cucumber on one side, carrots on top, and avocado slices on top.
  • Add the tuna.
  • Lift the mat and roll the moss sheet into a roll, squeezing it with your hand at each turn.
  • Make sure the moss leaf is as round as possible.
  • After wrapping it all, secure it well.
  • Slice into desired sizes with the help of a sharp knife.
  • Kimbap is ready! You can serve it with soy sauce. Enjoy your meal!
