Ingredients for Leek and Sour Anchovy Recipe
  • 4 leeks ( white parts)
  • 1/2 bunch of spring onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of chili pepper
  • 1 pinch of ground red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sumac
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 tea glass of olive oil

For the Top Layer:

  • 500 grams of anchovies (cleaned)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 8 teaspoons of butter

How to Make Leek and Sour Anchovy Recipe?

  • Finely chop the leeks, spring onions and garlic.
  • Mix the chopped mixture with spices, lemon juice and olive oil in a large bowl and place the mixture on the bottom of a medium-sized baking tray.
  • Arrange the anchovies in a single layer on top of the mixture. Pour a pinch of salt and olive oil over the anchovies and leave the butter scattered on top.
  • Bake the dish in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown and serve hot. Enjoy your meal.
