  • 20 inner mussels
  • 20 vine leaves
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 1 pinch of dill
  • 1 pinch of parsley
  • 1 tomato _
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 pinch of currants
  • 1-2 teaspoons of pomegranate syrup
  • 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2-3 slices of lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

How to Make Mussels Wrapped in Vine Leaves Recipe?

  • First of all, we wash our mussels and rice. Then we add cleaned inner mussels, spices, grated tomatoes, finely chopped dill, parsley and spring onions to our rice.
  • We add salt according to your preference and prepare a nice stuffed pilaf.
  • We wash our fresh vine leaves by running them through cold water without boiling them. And we wrap the mussel stuffing pilaf we prepared, with 1 mussel inside each leaf.
  • We arrange our stuffed wraps in a small pot. We put plenty of olive oil, 2-3 slices of lemon on them, add their juice, cover the plate and let them cook over low heat. We serve it with the addition of pomegranate syrup.
