- 120 grams of octopus (from the arm part)
- 1/2 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the sauce:
- 1 piece (0.5 gram) of mastic gum
- 1 glass of water
- 1 tablespoon raw cream
- 1 sprig of fresh thyme
For service:
- 1 teaspoon of mint
How to Make Octopus Recipe with Mastic Mastic?
- Chop the meaty octopus, using the arm part, into julienne shapes. Chop the garlic finely. Heat the butter in a pan.
- Sauté chopped octopus with garlic and salt.
- For the mastic sauce; Boil the mastic gum with water in a separate place.
- When the mastic gum melts completely, add the sauce you prepared, little by little, to the sautéed octopus and continue the cooking process.
- Warm the raw cream with the boiling mastic sauce and add it little by little. Lower the heat and continue cooking for 2 minutes.
- Serve the octopus with mastic gum on a serving plate hot, with the addition of mint, without waiting. Share with your loved ones.
