For those who are bored of classic blarney and have had enough of tahini; Here comes a nutritious and filling recipe for anchovy blarney that has the consistency of a main course.
You can think like a classic salad and add the greens you want.
- 2 cups dried beans
- 1 onion _
- 1/2 bunch of dill
- 2 spring onions
- 2 tablespoons sliced black olives
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- 1 boiled egg
- 12 anchovies _
For the sauce:
- 2 tablespoons grape vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How to Make Piyaz Recipe with Red Pepper and Anchovy?
- Wash and soak the dry beans in plenty of water the night before. Boil it on low heat by adding some cold water.
- Chop the peeled onion into small cubes or half-moon shapes.
- Finely chop the spring onions and dill. Divide the boiled egg into eight equal parts.
- Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Slice the anchovies thinly.
- After draining the boiled beans, mix them with all the other chopped blarney ingredients and divide them into salad bowls.
- Add the sliced anchovy pieces to the serving bowls. For the salad sauce; Mix lemon juice, grape vinegar, olive oil, black pepper, chili pepper and salt with a whisk and pour over the salad.
- Serve cold or immediately without waiting. Share with your loved ones.
