How to Make Salmon Recipe with Orange Teriyaki Sauce?

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the salmon fillets side by side on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • Sprinkle equal amounts of garlic and salt over the fillets. Lift the sides of the wax paper to lightly cover the salmon.
  • Place the tray in the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes.
  • While the salmon is cooking, mix the cornstarch and cold water in a bowl and set aside.
  • In another bowl; Mix sugar, orange juice, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil and garlic paste well.
  • Transfer the sauce mixture you prepared into a sauce pot and let it boil, stirring occasionally.
  • When the sauce boils, reduce the heat and add honey. Then add the cornstarch mixture and continue cooking over low heat, stirring, for about 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • When the sauce thickens, remove the pot from the stove.
  • Remove the cooked salmon from the oven. Scrape off the skins with a sharp knife and place them on a serving plate.
  • Put your peeled potatoes in a pot and add enough water to cover them. Then let it cook until it softens.
  • Check whether your potatoes are cooked or not with a knife. Drain the water from your softened potatoes.
  • Add butter and mash well. Then add salt, black pepper and milk and continue mashing until you get a nice, smooth consistency.
  • Pour the sauce mixture you prepared on top, sprinkle sesame seeds and thinly sliced green onions, and serve with mashed potatoes.
