You will say "Oh my God" while eating it because the liver is crispy on the outside and delicious inside! And when you mix it with onion salad and fried potatoes, it is so delicious, you won't be able to get enough of it.

 
Ingredients for Albanian Liver Recipe
  • 2-3 potatoes _
  • 2 red onions
  • 10 sprigs of parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon sumac

For liver:

  • 700 grams of liver
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

To fry:

  • 1 water glass measure of oil

How to Make Albanian Liver Recipe?

  • Remove the membrane and nervous parts on the liver. Chop the cubes into small cubes and let them drain in a strainer.
  • Mix flour, salt, baking soda and ground pepper in a large bowl. Add the drained livers and mix until all sides are coated with flour.
  • At this stage of the recipe, you need to put the floured livers in a strainer and shake off the excess flour. If you wish, you can make it without shaking to keep it crispy. Fry in hot oil for 8-10 minutes.
  • Place the cooked livers in a lidded bowl lined with paper towels, drain the oil, and close the lid.
  • Meanwhile, fry the diced potatoes in another frying pan. Then drain them and put them on the lungs.
  • Put the chopped onions in a strainer, rub them with plenty of salt and cook for 5 minutes. Wait and wash it to remove the bitterness. Add chopped parsley, salt and sumac, add it to the liver & potatoes and mix it all. Serve before it gets cold. Enjoy your meal!
