How to Make Baked Bechamel Minced Potatoes Recipe?

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into rounds, 1 finger thick. Cook in the oil you have heated in a pan until lightly browned, and then set the cooked potatoes aside.
  • To prepare the bechame sauce, melt the oil and butter in a saucepan. After it melts well, add the flour and mix. Fry lightly. Then add milk and water, mix quickly and be careful not to form lumps. After adding the spices, remove it from the stove before it gets too thick.
  • To prepare the minced meat sauce, heat the oil in a pan. Add the ground beef and fry until it takes on color, then chop the onion and add it on top.
  • Continue roasting by stirring and add the tomato paste. Add the spices and finely chopped parsley and mix. Add the water, cook for a few more minutes and remove from the stove.
  • First, place the potatoes in a baking dish or baking mold approximately 20x20 cm in size, covering the bottom. Then pour the minced meat mixture over it, spread it well and arrange the remaining potatoes on top.
  • Pour the tomato paste juice over it and bake it in the preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, spread the prepared bechamel on the top layer and bake for another 10 minutes. After taking it out of the oven, let it rest at room temperature for a while and then serve it in portions.
