Ingredients for Baked Karnıyarık Recipe

For eggplants:

  • 2 medium sized eggplants
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 400 grams of medium-fat ground meat
  • 1 large size onion
  • 2 medium sized tomatoes
  • 1 pinch of parsley
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1.5 teaspoons of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of chili pepper

For sauce:

  • 1 glass of hot water
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 1 pinch of salt

For decoration:

  • 1 tomato _
  • 1 green pepper

How to Make Baked Cauliflower Recipe?

  • After cleaning the leaves from the head of the eggplants, let's cut them in half.
  • Let's make deep scratches all the way to the shell, apply oil with the help of a brush, and place the cut parts on the tray, face down.
  • Let's bake on the middle shelf of a preheated 240 degree oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. While the eggplants are cooking, we can prepare the karnıyarık stuffing; Let's pour 2 tablespoons of oil into a suitable pan.
  • Add 400 grams of minced meat and fry for about 2 minutes until the minced meat turns brown. When the color of the minced meat changes, add the onion you chopped and fry for another 5 minutes.
  • Then let's add 1 teaspoon of tomato paste. After adding 2 medium-sized tomatoes chopped into cubes, add one and a half teaspoons of salt, half a teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, mix and cover the pan.
  • Let's cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes absorb their water. When it is cooked enough, add the parsley, stir and turn off the stove.
  • When the eggplants come out of the oven, gently press them with a spoon to make room. Let's sprinkle a pinch of salt on it and put plenty of the stuffing we prepared. Let's decorate it with sliced tomatoes and peppers.
  • For the sauce; Let's add a teaspoon of tomato paste and a pinch of salt into 1 glass of hot water and mix.
  • Let's pour our sauce on the bottom of the tray. Let's cook it again in the oven at 240 degrees for about 7-8 minutes until the sauce thickens a little. Enjoy your meal.
