Ingredients for Baked Minced Meat and Vegetable String Recipe
  • 2 onions _
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 200 grams of minced meat
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper powder
  • 2 grated tomatoes
  • 3 zucchinis _
  • 4 potatoes _
  • 4 cherry tomatoes

For the sauce:

  • 400 ml. milk
  • 1.5 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 egg _
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic

How to Make Baked Minced Meat and Vegetable String Recipe?

  • Wash the potatoes, put them in a deep pot, add enough water to cover them and let them boil. Do not boil the potatoes completely, make sure they are boiled in a way that they remain slightly firm because you will also be cooking them in the oven.
  • While the potatoes are boiling, pour olive oil into a pan and lightly fry the diced onions. Add grated garlic on top.
  • Immediately after that, add the minced meat and fry until the minced meat releases its water and absorbs it again. After adding the spices, turn off the heat.
  • Grate 2 tomatoes into a round bowl and spread them to cover the bottom of the bowl.
  • Peel the boiled potatoes and cut them into rings. Likewise, wash the zucchinis well and cut them into rings. Arrange the potatoes you cut into rings on top of the grated tomatoes you spread at the bottom of the baking tray.
  • Pour the minced meat mixture on top and spread well.
  • On top of the minced meat mixture, arrange a row of potatoes and zucchinis on the edges, then a row of zucchinis in the middle, and cherry tomatoes in the middle. You can also decide on the arrangement of the vegetables as you wish.
  • Take the milk and flour required for the sauce in a bowl and whisk well. Add the egg, spices and finely chopped parsley and mix well.
  • Pour it over the vegetables in my baking tray.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes until the vegetables are fully cooked and lightly browned on top, then serve hot. Bon appetit!
