Take the lean, lean beef nuar meat in a large and whole piece, season it with salt and pepper, and then seal it over high heat. You have two different methods in front of you. Boil or roast with root vegetables. We could not compromise on either method, we boiled the veal nuar with the support of root vegetables as well as onions and put it in the oven. The result was a roast beef whose taste lingers on the palate.

Mashed potatoes on the side. Tonight's menu has already been announced.

 
Ingredients for Beef Roast Recipe
  • 800 grams of veal nuar (lean and lean veal leg meat)
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon finely ground sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 2 medium sized carrots
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 2 spoonful butter
  • 4 medium sized onions
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 cups hot water

How to Make Beef Roast Recipe?

  • Make small gaps on the meat using the tip of a sharp knife.
  • Peel the garlic cloves one by one. Place all the garlic into these spaces along with black peppercorns as desired.
  • Sprinkle finely ground sea salt and freshly ground black pepper over the meat.
  • Heat the sunflower oil in a cast iron pan. Put the veal nuar on the fire and seal it over high heat, turning it with a frying fork in between. Sprinkle thyme on top and add apple cider vinegar towards the end of the sealing process.
  • Peel the carrots. Chop the peeled onions into thin pieces.
  • Melt the butter in a separate pan. Sauté the chopped onions until they turn a light colour. Add the flour and fry it with the colored onions.
  • Add the meat you fried in a cast iron pan and the oil it left behind to the roasted onions. Add hot water and carrots and cook for about 60 minutes until the meat is tender.
  • Place the meat, which has softened and almost evaporated, into a heat-resistant baking dish. Add the carrots. Spread the onions, which were added for flavor and turned into puree, over the meat. Add the remaining water.
  • Continue cooking in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for another 30 minutes until the meat begins to brown.
  • After slicing the hot roast from the oven, serve it with mashed potatoes if desired.
