Beef Stroganoff is a recipe where cream and mushrooms add flavor to the flavor of meat. Meat selection, cutting and cooking technique used are very important to get a successful result. Ingredients for Beef Stroganoff Recipe

For Meat:

  • 500 grams of beef tenderloin
  • 2 medium sized onions
  • 1/2 tea glass of oil
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup broth
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 2 tablespoons of yoghurt cream
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon dill (chopped)

For garnish:

  • 500 grams of baby potatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 15 cultivated mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon of ground red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 5 pickled cucumbers
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped)

How to Make Beef Stroganoff Recipe?

  • For garnish, cut the potatoes in half and mix them with salt, pepper, garlic and oil.
  • Place the potatoes on the tray with their skins up and bake them in a hot oven at 220 degrees for about 25 minutes until they are golden brown and tender.
  • Place a large and wide pan on the stove and add oil. Put the onions you cut into half moons into the pan in a single layer and start cooking over medium heat.
  • Cut the tenderloin into long thin strips, flour them and place them on the onions.
  • When the tenderloins get a bright color, mix them with the onions. Add black pepper and tomato puree, cook for a minute and remove from the stove.
  • Put the broth, cream and yoghurt cream in a small pot and bring to a boil.
  • Add the meat mixture waiting in the pan to the cream mixture, add salt and remove from the stove. Add the bay leaf, close the lid and let it brew.
  • For the garnish, heat a large pan at high temperature, first put the mushrooms in the pan, lightly salt them and sauté until they change color.
  • Add oil to the mushrooms and sauté for another minute. Add the potatoes, thickly sliced pickles, black pepper, ground red pepper and mustard to the pan and continue sautéing for a short while.
  • Finally, add the chopped parsley and remove from the stove.
  • When serving, put the garnish mixture on your plate, put the brewed beef stroganoff next to it, add lightly chopped dill and serve hot. Enjoy your meal.
