Ingredients for Boiled Stuffed Meatballs Recipe

For internal mortar:

  • 300 grams of medium-fat ground meat
  • 1 large size onion
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sweet red pepper powder
  • 1 coffee cup coarsely ground walnuts

For the outer dough:

  • 2.5 cups fine bulgur
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 egg _
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2.5 cups hot water

How to Make Boiled Stuffed Meatballs Recipe?

  • Add your oil to the pan, after it melts, add the diced onions and fry.
  • Add your minced meat and continue roasting.
  • Add tomato paste, spices and walnuts. After cooking, turn off the heat. After it cools, put it in the refrigerator.
  • Soak the semolina and fine bulgur with boiling water and let them rest for 10 minutes with the lid closed.
  • Add flour, egg, tomato paste and spices and knead well.
  • When it becomes completely homogeneous, tear off large pieces of walnut and roll them. Play the inside with gentle movements with your thumb. Add your mixture into it and roll it again to close it.
  • Apply the same process to all mortar.
  • Boil water in your pot. Add a teaspoon of salt and three or four drops of lemon juice to boiling water (to prevent the meatballs from cracking). Add the meatballs into it and let them boil.
