When we say kebab in our kitchen, we don't only think of meat skewered on skewers and grilled over a barbecue. Kebab actually covers many different dishes that contain meat. We love all kinds of it too. There's meat in it, vegetables in it, it's fun. It also adds flavor with cheese and different sauces.

This time, we are here with a very satisfying kebab that combines meat, vegetables and cheddar cheese. This kebab is first cooked slowly in a pot. Both vegetables and meat become soft and delicious. Then it meets with béchamel sauce and cheddar cheese in the casserole. You are invited to our recipe that everyone, young and old, will love.

Ingredients for Buğ Kebab Recipe
  • 600 grams of beef cubed meat
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 150 grams of shallot
  • 2 capia peppers
  • 2 medium sized potatoes (diced)
  • 2 carrots (diced )
  • 2 tea glasses of peas
  • 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

For the above:

  • 100 grams grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1.5 cups of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

How to Make Buğ Kebab Recipe?

  • Seal the meat in a pot or pressure cooker, add enough water to cover it and cook until the meat becomes soft.
  • In a separate pot, fry the shallot with oil.
  • Add capsicum, potatoes and carrots and continue roasting.
  • After adding the softened meat, peas, garlic, salt and pepper, pour 2 cups of broth into the pot.
  • Cook in this way until the water reduces to half.
  • Transfer the cooked kebab to a baking dish.
  • For the béchamel sauce, melt the butter over low heat. Add the flour and fry.
  • After roasting the flour, add the milk little by little 2-3 times and ensure that it reaches a smooth consistency.
  • Set the ready béchamel sauce aside and let it cool.
  • Spread béchamel sauce on top and sprinkle grated cheddar cheese.
  • Bake at 190 degrees for 15 minutes until golden brown and enjoy with your loved ones.
