It is possible to find and experience burritos, which we can call Mexican-style wraps with lots of ingredients, as well as rice with various sauces. We did not include rice in the recipe.
The important thing is to be gentle when wrapping the tortilla bread and not to spill the ingredients, good luck in advance.
A little suggestion: If desired, burrito can also be prepared with chicken.
- 4 tortillas _
- 250 grams of lean steak
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 red onion
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tomato _
- 1 red pepper
- 2 tablespoons tomato puree
- 1/2 tea glass of broth
- 150 grams canned Mexican beans
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese (cheddar cheese if desired)
- 4 sprigs of fresh coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
For the sour cream sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of strained yoghurt
- 1/2 cup raw cream
How to Make Burrito Recipe?
- Chop the red onion and garlic. Chop the peeled tomato into small cubes.
- Cut the lean steak lengthwise. Cut the red pepper in half and remove its seeds and chop it to fit the meat.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan. Sauté the chopped onion and garlic until they begin to colour.
- After adding the steak slices, continue the sautéing process over high heat for about 5 minutes. Next; Add red peppers and mix.
- Add cumin, red pepper powder and salt and mix. Add chopped tomatoes, tomato puree and finely chopped fresh coriander leaves.
- After adding the broth and canned Mexican beans, boil the sauce mixture over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Heat the ready-made tortilla breads in a hot pan for 1 minute. Divide the meat sauce mixture into four and place it in the middle of the tortillas.
- After folding the edges of the bread towards the middle, wrap the tortillas like a roll.
- Place it on the baking tray like this. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on them. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
- For use in your service; Prepare the sour cream sauce by quickly whisking the strained yoghurt and cream.
- Serve with hot burritos coming out of the oven. Share with your loved ones.
