Ingredients for Çardak Kebab Recipe
  • 1 piece of dough (divided into 8 triangles)
  • 250 grams of beef entrecôte (diced)
  • 2 green peppers ( chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 2 tomatoes (chopped )
  • 1/2 tea glass of water

To fry:

  • 1 cup frying oil

For the above:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons of water

How to Make Çardak Kebab Recipe?

  • Heat the pan. Add the chopped meat and cook until the water is absorbed.
  • Then add chopped pepper and butter and start sautéing.
  • Add salt, black pepper and thyme and mix.
  • Finally, add the tomatoes and their juice and cook over low heat until the meat becomes soft.
  • Place your triangle-shaped dough on the counter. Add 1.5 tablespoons of the cooked meat mixture to the wide part of the dough and wrap it as if you were wrapping a cigarette pastry. Glue the tip with water.
  • Take oil in a pan and heat it. Fry the phyllo dough with the stuffing you prepared.
  • Put the butter and tomato paste in a pan and heat it. Add 2 tablespoons of water to dilute the tomato paste, heat it up and remove it from the stove.
  • Place the çardak kebab you have prepared on a plate, pour yoghurt and sauce on it and serve.
