Ingredients for Çentik Kebab Recipe
  • 150 grams of beef tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 1 large potato
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion _
  • 2 slices of stale bread

To fry:

  • 1 glass of sunflower oil

For service:

  • 1 cup of yoghurt

How to Make Çentik Kebab Recipe?

  • After placing the beef tenderloin slice in a refrigerator bag or covering it with stretch film, pound it with the help of a meat mallet to make it thin.
  • Chop the onion and garlic into small cubes.
  • Cut stale bread slices into cubes. After mixing with salt and pepper, bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 5 minutes.
  • Peel the large sized potato and cut it into matchstick thin pieces. After heating the sunflower oil in a deep pot, fry the potatoes.
  • Transfer the colored potatoes to a serving plate lined with paper towels using a colander and allow them to drain off excess oil.
  • Thin the beef tenderloin; Fry on high heat, in a pan or on the grill, for about 4 minutes.
  • Heat the sunflower oil in a separate pan. Fry the onion and garlic until they take color. Add tomato paste and mix.
  • Open the sauce you prepared by adding hot water. Boil for 3-4 minutes and let it thicken.
  • Spread the stale bread cubes you toasted in the oven on the bottom of the serving plate. Place the roasted potatoes on the bread.
  • Pour the tomato sauce you prepared over them. After whisking the yoghurt you will use to serve, add it to the plate.
  • After cutting the cooked tenderloin into thin strips, place it on a plate and serve without waiting. Share with your loved ones.
