Chestnut kebab and candy, among the long-awaited flavors of the winter season, are best known and loved. As a meal, rice is also frequently used in our cuisine. Chestnuts go especially well with stuffed pilaf.

Apart from these categories, chestnut vaccine is prepared by combining this nutritious food with meat. A simple and practical meal with just a few ingredients. Chestnuts added to the dish at the last stage integrate with lamb meat, shallots and garlic and turn into an effective flavor.

 
Ingredients for Chestnut Grafting Recipe
  • 25 medium sized chestnuts
  • 500 grams of lamb cubed meat
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 15 shallots 
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon (wiping) black pepper
  • 1 glass of hot water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make Chestnut Grafting Recipe?

  • Score the edges of the chestnuts with a knife and wash them under water.
  • Place the soaked chestnuts in a non-stick pan, roast over medium heat on the stove, shaking and stirring occasionally, for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove the chestnuts from the pan to cool. Peel the skins, being careful not to tear them.
  • Place the meat and olive oil in a shallow pan. Roast the meat until it releases its juices. When the meat becomes juicy, add the onion and garlic. Roast over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the water evaporates.
  • When the meat and vegetables have completely absorbed their water, turn the heat down to low. Add hot water, chestnuts, cinnamon and black pepper to the pot and mix. Cook with the lid of the pot until the water evaporates. Do not stir the food at this stage.
  • After the food has drained, turn off the stove. After adjusting the salt, serve it hot without waiting. Share with your loved ones.
