  • 2 cups chickpeas
  • 250 grams of beef cubed meat
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 1 capia pepper
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

How to Make Chickpea Dish with Meat Recipe?

  • Let's add 2 cups of water to cover the chickpeas and let them sit overnight. They will be quite swollen the next day.
  • Let's put it in a pot with its water and boil it for about 5 minutes. After boiling, pour out the water and keep it aside.
  • In another pot (I used a pressure cooker), let's chop the onion and capia pepper and fry them with oil.
  • Let's add the diced meat to it and fry it a little more.
  • Let's add the tomato paste and spices and finally add the chickpeas.
  • After blending it all, let's add enough hot water to cover it and close our pressure cooker.
  • Let's turn the stove to low heat and cook for 30 minutes. This time may be longer in a normal pot.
