  • 1/2 tea glass of olive oil
  • 1/2 tea glass of water
  • 100 grams shallot
  • 3 medium sized tomatoes
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 sprig of fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

For the sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon flour
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

How to Make Chops Recipe with Tomato Sauce?

  • Arrange the chops in a single row in a cast iron or thick-bottomed pot.
  • Chop the peeled tomatoes into small cubes. Transfer the shallots and garlic, which you soaked in hot water and peeled easily, into the pot along with the chopped tomatoes.
  • After adding olive oil, water, salt and fresh thyme, cook the pencil cutlets in a covered pot over low heat for about 25 minutes.
  • For the sauce; Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the flour and fry until it gets a light color.
  • After adding soy sauce, water and freshly ground black pepper, boil the sauce for about 5 minutes.
  • Strain the boiling sauce into a separate sauce pot using a strainer.
  • Place the pencil cutlets cooked in tomato sauce, two at a time, on a serving plate. Using a strainer, strain the tomato sauce, which the shallots add flavor and in which the cutlets are cooked, into the sauce pot in which you prepared the soy sauce.
  • Boil the mixture sauce you have obtained over low heat for about 5 minutes to thicken. Pour the prepared sauce generously over the cutlets on the plate and serve hot without waiting. Share with your loved ones.
