We have a delicious kebab recipe that will linger on your palate. Try Muğla's delicious Çökertme kebab at home.
- 250-300 grams of beef
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon of salt
For the above:
- 4-5 tablespoons of strained yoghurt
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 pinch of salt
For potatoes:
- 3 potatoes _
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1-2 cups of oil (for frying)
For the sauce:
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon of oil
How to Make Çökertme Kebab Recipe?
- The meat is roasted over low heat, adding half a tea glass of water, until it releases its juices.
- Meanwhile, the potatoes are ready by cutting them into thin rings and matchsticks, sprinkled with salt and fried in hot oil, and placed on a large serving plate.
- Whisk strained yoghurt, crushed garlic and a pinch of salt in a bowl and pour over the potatoes.
- Tomatoes are grated and cooked. Add tomato paste to it. Prepare the sauce by adding half a tea glass of water to the roasted tomato paste and tomatoes.
- The prepared sauce is poured over the yoghurt. Cooked meats are placed on the tomato sauce. Serve sprinkled with optional thyme or chopped parsley.
